What is the Summit Meeting? ACSM's Health and Fitness Summit Meeting is geared towards presenting applicable cutting edge research to Health and Fitness professionals. A wide range of disciplines are covered from nutrition, personal training and exercise program design, to sports medicine and professional development. By attending this meeting you'll have the chance to not only listen to leaders in the Health and Fitness field talk about new advances and controversies, but you'll also get to participate in hands-on workouts. First-time attendee? ACSM is committed to offering the best conference experience regardless of how many other health and fitness events you have attended. ACSM offers an orientation team on site to give you the ins and outs of the conference. Four enthusiastic members of the Summit Program Committee will enlighten your entire Summit experience by helping you navigate the meeting using the program grid and final program book, answer questions and help you make the entire meeting as meaningful and fun as possible. How to get the Most Out of the Program Session Are you a first-time attendee or student? Join us Wednesday, April 7, from 4:45- 5:15 p.m. to hear four enthusiastic members of the Summit Program Committee. Known as our ‘orientation team,’ they will enlighten your entire Summit experience by helping you navigate the meeting by showing you how to best utilize the program schedule and Final program; answer any questions you may have about the meeting; and help you make the entire meeting as rewarding and fun as possible.
