How many minutes a day should you exercise?
What types of exercises are best for you?

ACSM can help you answer these questions and more with the resources below. The most important thing to remember, above all: start exercising, regardless of how many minutes you can do at first.

To learn more about the federal guidelines from the Department of Health and Human Services, click here. ACSM is also heavily involved with the soon-to-be-released National Physical Activity Plan.
