ACSM MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS & FEES

Professional Member Dues- $220   Benefits
Professional membership is open to anyone who has earned a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree at an accredited institution in a field related to health, physical education or exercise science; or, anyone who has earned at least a bachelor's degree in another area, but is working in a field related to sports medicine or exercise science.

Professional-in-Training Member Dues- $155  Benefits
Professional-in-Training membership is limited ONLY to physicians in a residency program or post-doctoral fellows.

Graduate Student Member Dues- $80  Benefits
Graduate Student membership is open to any student who has earned a bachelor's degree in a field related to exercise science or sports medicine and is carrying at least one-half of a full academic load, as defined by the attending institution, during at least one semester of a regular academic year.

Undergraduate Student Membership Dues- $80  Benefits
Undergraduate student membership is open to any full-time undergraduate student studying in a field related to exercise science or sports medicine.

Duration of Membership-

Professional, Professional-in-Training, Graduate Student,  and Undergraduate Student membership types are on anniversary term (e.g., Join in July and renew the following July). Accepted membership applications are non-refundable.  Membership application processing time is four to six weeks. Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery of publications. Only completed applications will be considered.
