Scheduling and Taking the ACSM Certification Exam
About the Exam
All ACSM Certification Exams are
offered on-demand, in computer-based format at Pearson VUE®
authorized testing centers. Pearson Vue is the world’s
leading test center network with over 5,200 test centers in 162
countries. That means you can take the ACSM Certification Exam at a
time, date and location that is convenient for you. You can schedule
your exam online, by phone or directly through a testing center and, you
can register up to 24 hours before your desired test time. You can also
view practice questions for all four ACSM certifications:
- ACSM Certified Personal
TrainerSM
- ACSM Certified Health Fitness
Specialist
- ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise
Specialist®
- ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise
Physiologist®
The ACSM Certification Exam may
include pictures and/or video segments, all questions are multiple
choice. All exams are offered in English worldwide.
The ACSM Certified Personal TrainerSM is currently
offered in Spanish and Simplified Chinese. Additional exam
translations will be available in the future.
