ACSM Workshops
ACSM Workshops are an excellent way to prepare
for the certification exams or gain continuing education credits.
A balance of educational lectures and hands-on practicum experience are
essential tools for learning the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs)
required to become an ACSM Certified Professional. Additionally,
the interactive and hands-on environment is ideal for exam
preparation.
The landscape of the health/fitness and
clinical industry is ever changing. ACSM Workshops are also a
great way to brush up on your knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs)
and earn CECs for certification renewal.
ACSM offers the following workshops:
Workshops are not a prerequisite for
certification. Workshop hours are determined by each site.
You do not need to have a current CPR certification to participate in
the
workshop.

Host an ACSM Workshop in your Area
ACSM is committed to providing high quality,
accessible, and affordable credentials for professionals who work in the
health, fitness and clinical fields. Because of this, ACSM offers
certification workshops and examinations throughout the United
States and around the world.
You can be a part of one of the most well-respected credentialing
organizations by hosting an ACSM workshop in your area. Please

Workshop Registration Transfer and Cancellation Agreement
Please read, understand and agree to all
policies before registering for an ACSM Workshop.
Workshop Transfer and Cancellation Policies
Requests to cancel an ACSM
Workshop or to transfer to another ACSM workshop site must be
sent via fax or email to the ACSM National Center. All requests
must be received prior to the start date of the
workshop.

- Transfer or cancellation
requests emailed or faxed beforethe listed site workshop enrollment
deadline will be charged a $75 processing fee.
- Transfer or cancellation
requests emailed or faxed afterthe listed site enrollment deadline
are charged 50% (minimum $75) of the original workshop fee.
- Transfer or cancellation
requests emailed or faxed on the first dayof the workshopwill not
be honored, and no money will be refunded.
NOTE: All transfer requests are contingent
upon the enrollment limitations of the transfer site. The ACSM National
Center must receive the additional fee before the candidate can be
registered at the transfer site. All cancellation requests will be
processed by check and mailed. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of
the refund.
Workshop Site Cancellation
The American College of Sports Medicine and
individual workshop sites reserve the right to
cancel workshops prior to the late registration deadline for any
reason.* This deadline can be found on the workshop registration
page. When a workshop is cancelled, candidates will be notified
immediately and will receive a complete refund of all workshop
fees. All refunds will be processed by check and mailed to
the participant within 4 - 6 weeks after the cancellation. If for any
reason, a site cancels a workshop or if the site is full, ACSM is
not responsible for expenses incurred beyond the enrollment
fees.
*ACSM Certified Personal Trainer workshops
reserve the right to cancel 7 days prior to the workshop start
date.
Housing and Local Transportation
Information regarding housing and local
transportation will be provided by the individual workshop sites. We
strongly recommend you refrain from making any travel or hotel
reservations until 20 days (7 days for the CPT workshop) prior to the
start of the workshop. ACSM is not responsible for travel or hotel
expense. Information will be mailed by the workshop host site
prior to the event.
