2. Describe how your training, area of specialization, and past involvement with ACSM have prepared you to serve as Treasurer.

My service to ACSM, specifically in the Presidential cycle, has made me intimately familiar with the ACSM budget process.  Further, my years as Director of Clinical Physiology at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee (1988-1998) and my years as Director of the Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (1999-2014) have involved extensive budget planning and preparation.

3. ACSM works closely with many other organizations, including associations, companies, philanthropies, and governmental agencies. Indicate those organizations/companies/agencies for which you play an advisory, consulting, or leadership role.

At the present time, I am a consultant to Breath Research, Inc, and Fit Planet, Inc.  My work with these organizations is advisory relative to technical issues, and is not central to their business model.
