The ACSM Media Program serves the College's goal of "Advancing health through science, education and medicine."

• The Media Referral Network connects journalists and producers with expert sources on health, fitness and a variety of sports medicine specialties.
• ACSM News Releases disseminate the latest research results, trends and issues through both general media and specialty media.
• ACSM promotes public awareness of the benefits of physical activity for all people. Resources include brochures, Current Comments, and Position Stands. The ACSM Fit Society® Page is a quarterly e-newsletter with information on health and fitness, exercise, nutrition and more.

PUBLICATIONS

• The ACSM journals, Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise®, Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews, and ACSM's Health & Fitness Journal®,  are included as member benefits to either regular or Alliance members or are available by subscription for nonmembers (Titles included vary by membership category). ACSM also has a physician-focused review journal, Current Sports Medicine Reports, available to its members.
• ACSM's Sports Medicine Bulletin is a bimonthly electronic newsmagazine for members.
• ACSM membership includes discounts on all publication products as well as an additional five percent discount to all members who purchase ACSM products from publishing partner Lippincott Williams & Wilkins through the ACSM Certification Resource Center (1-800-486-5643). In addition, ACSM publishes all study materials needed for ACSM certification workshops and exams.
• Books, CDs, videos and other resources  center on the study of sports medicine, exercise science and health and fitness. ACSM provides the latest information from today's leading experts.
