Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

Healthier Kids, Brighter Futures.
More than 23 million children and teenagers in the U.S. ages 2 to 19 are obese or overweight, a statistic that health and medical experts consider an epidemic. Every September, National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month (COAM), gives elected officials, educators, physicians, and you the opportunity to take a stand and fight childhood obesity. Learn how you can get involved by visiting www.coam-month.org.
