As an underrepresented minority in medicine and science, I have experienced a great welcoming at ACSM. ACSM has supported and incorporated the unique contributions that people with diverse backgrounds can provide. ACSM as an organization seems to understand the saying that diversity makes us stronger and our work better for all.
