The Gail E. Butterfield Nutrition Travel Award helps fund travel expenses for Ph.D. students traveling to ACSM's Annual Meeting to present their scholarly work.
Two $500 travel awards are offered (one U.S. student and one international student).
Must be a Ph.D. student in good standing conducting research in humans focusing on one or more of the following five areas: protein metabolism, altitude and nutrition, energy balance, nutrition and exercise interventions to improve metabolic health, or nutrition and the female athlete.
Must be presenting a research project at ACSM's Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL.
Applications for the 2019 Gail E. Butterfield Nutrition Travel Award will be posted by late October, 2018. Please check back soon.
