In honor of the 25th anniversary of the International Health & Fitness Summit, the ACSM Summit Program Committee is excited to offer more opportunities to earn CECs than ever before. Previously, the max number of CECs available was 22.75 in 2019. This year an attendee has the Opportunity to earn over 40 CECs during the virtual experience, a 50% increase. All CECs are certified by the American College of Sports Medicine’s Professional Education Committee.
Note: Registration includes access to all sessions, not including pre/post conference events. CEC purchasing is optional.
How can you earn CECs for the 2021 Summit?
ACSM has implemented several changes to how attendees can earn CECs for this year’s virtual experience. Below is a breakdown of that process:
Five CECs are automatically awarded to your CEC History/Certifications tab after registration is verified and event closes on May 11.
Each additional CEC will now be available for ala carte purchase at a 50% discount from regular-priced CECs. This discount is only available for registered attendees of the Summit.
The total amount of available CECs for an attendee in 2021 is up to 48 CECs (includes five when registering).
