The use of digital fitness programs has increased exponentially during the pandemic. With many technology platforms and devices available, how can fitness professionals select the best technologies to engage their clients? Drawing on lessons learned from the implementation of a digital exercise trial and virtual Exercise is Medicine education, this session will review several digital platforms, including livestream video, prerecorded content and mobile health applications, and discuss how to pair these platforms with consumer-grade activity trackers in the delivery of group fitness and one-on-one programming.  We will also discuss how to design effective, evidence-based programs using these technologies.
