As Undergraduate Exercise Science Program Director, Lecturer and academic advisor in the Department of Applied Physiology, Health and Clinical Sciences at UNC Charlotte, I regularly advocate for ACSM membership and certification. I am committed to advancing sports medicine and exercise science through accessible, high quality, accredited, educational programs for the preparation of future ACSM certified professionals. As a program director with experience in accreditation and curriculum design, I have expertise in alignment of knowledge areas, learning outcomes, instructional materials, and assessments. Starting in 2005, the American College of Sports Medicine has helped me to build my brand as a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Since then, ongoing membership and certification have supported my personal and professional development as an administrator and educator. I am excited to serve the professional organization that is a significant part of my professional identity.
