The ACSM Certification Board (CCRB) completed an updated job task analysis of the Certified Group Exercise Instructor (ACSM-GEI) in April 2018. As a result, content classification and the weighting of questions have changed. See the “2010-2018 ACSM-GEI crosswalk” for greater detail. The new version of the ACSM-GEI exam will be released on December 3, 2018.
