Applications and nominations are invited for the post of editor-in-chief for Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine (TJACSM).
TJACSM is an international, peer-reviewed, online journal designed to disseminate translational science that is intended to inform researchers and practitioners. The journal also provides a venue for research on policy issues that affect implementation of research findings into clinical and community settings. The vision is to publish high-quality articles bridging the gap between basic and clinical research and practice in sports medicine and exercise science. The journal follows the existing format for all ACSM journals with an editorial board and EIC.
The search committee is accepting applications now through February 1, 2019. The ideal applicant must be a member of ACSM in good standing with expertise in the field of translational science. The Search Committee will take into consideration the applicants’ editorial experiences, organizational abilities, creativity, and the flexibility to devote time to serve in this capacity. Nominations* may be emailed to acsmjournals@acsm.org. Nominations must have the nominee’s approval.
