
Are you looking for travel funding to attend the ACSM Annual Meeting in San Francisco? Do you want to be matched with a mentor working in your area of study or work? Or, do you know any graduate-level students who want to increase their ACSM service and enhance their pathway to degree completion? Interested graduate-level students or higher who are under-represented minority members may be eligible for ACSM’s mentor/protégé program.
ACSM is now accepting applications for the Leadership & Diversity Training Program, which was created to promote career success through mentoring and professional growth. Accepted participants enhance their ACSM involvement by attending regional and national meetings and by service activities. To date, nearly 345 mentors and protégés have benefited from the program that has a proven record of developing the next generation of leaders in sports medicine and exercise science.
