Fellowship Applications in the Time of COVID-19: Preview
Like many other process, application and interviews for sports medicine fellowship positions has changed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Application periods have been pushed back and interviews have been shortened and are taking place over Zoom, but fellowship program directors are still looking to find top talent for their programs.
Our hosts talk to Joseph Chorley, M.D., FACSM, FAMSSM, of the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital about the changes he is seeing during the application and interview process for the pediatric sports medicine program that he oversees. He offers insights and tips for both fellowship program directors conducting interviews as well as candidates who are participating.
