2022 ACSM Northwest Annual Meeting

ACSM Northwest COVID-19 Guidance & Practices (As of 1/5/2022)
Ensuring the safety of ACSM Northwest members, staff and attendees at in-person events is a priority for ACSM Northwest. In conjunction with national ACSM, the ACSM Northwest established the following guidelines which outline ACSM Northwest protocols for future in-person meetings, conferences and events (“Meetings”). Although it is impossible to guarantee a risk-free environment, ACSM Northwest has worked to identify and adopt current best practices to reduce and mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission at Meetings.
ACSM Northwest requires all Meeting attendees, including participants, speakers, exhibitors, and guests (“Attendees”), to submit evidence that they either: (1) are fully vaccinated, as that term is defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at the time of the Meeting; or (2) submit proof of a negative COVID test taken no more than 48 hours prior to the Meeting start. Instructions and a link to the form will be made available in the coming days through email and our Annual Meeting website.
Specific requirements, including but not limited to the type of documentation required, the type of test required, and the time period in which the test must be administered may change closer to the Meeting based on CDC guidelines at that time as well as any applicable requirements of the local government and/or health authorities.
Submit your proof of vaccination or negative COVID test HERE
In addition, ACSM Northwest has implemented the following requirements for attending Meetings:
· All Attendees must wear face masks/coverings (preferably double-ply or N-95 quality) at all times when indoors at Meetings.
· To facilitate contact tracing efforts, attendees agree to notify their state health department if a confirmed exposure occurs at a Meeting and/or a positive COVID-19 test is confirmed within 10 days after a Meeting.
We continually update our schedule and list of speakers and their information.
Student Knowledge Bowl Registration:
The Student Knowledge Bowl is a fun event where teams of students compete for the College Bowl Trophy awarded to the team that collects the most points in a Jeopardy-style competition. The winning team of the regional student quiz bowl is expected to represent the Northwest Chapter at the National ACSM Annual Meeting Student Knowledge Bowl.
