Roundtables & Specialty Conferences

ACSM offers both roundtables and specialty conferences as part of our regular meetings calendar. 

We gladly accept suggestions for future roundtables and specialty conferences. If you'd like to suggest a roundtable or specialty conference for future consideration, here's what to do:

1. Prepare the following information:

  • Suggested title
  • Short abstract
  • Educational objectives
  • Suggested faculty
  • Target audience
  • Suggested fundraising prospects
  • Proposed date (i.e., Q2-2012, etc.)

2. Submit information to ACSM.

Send this information to Jane Senior, staff liaison for the ACSM Science Integration and Leadership Committee (SILC).

After submission, your proposal will be discussed at the next scheduled SILC teleconference. If SILC approves the concept, they will recommend it to the ACSM Administrative Council for approval to proceed. If SILC feels they need more information, ACSM staff will contact you for details.
